It was such a nice difference from the usual December décor; black, white, Tiffany blue with all colors of pink flowers to accent the tables.
It was very pretty and perfect for an afternoon luncheon.

Imagine 350 of your best friends invited to a 10,000sf tented reception on your 115 acre horse farm. This summer wedding was gorgeous and we incorporated the horse farm feeling with the linens and the country tables and benches. The ceremony aisle was lined with thousands of white and yellow gerbera daisies adding a touch of sunshine to the cloudy day. The centerpieces were accented by lime green and turquoise colors in the vases, flowers and fruits. The bride arrived at  the ceremony in a carriage drawn by big beautiful Belgian horses.

I hosted a dinner party this weekend and headed to the flower market to pick up whatever looked best for my dinner table. I was drawn to the pinks of every flower so decided to go with it.
I needed a look that was fresh and clean but a little romantic. I put the flowers in vintage white teapots (to keep the flowers low enough for conversation) and accented the teapots with some floral mugs I had on hand.
The pink intuition rose is the one that caught my eye as the most “uncommon” element in the flowers. The color striping is just wonderful to add that tiny bit of difference I am always looking for.

Hope your valentines days is memorable!
The colors are browns with gold and cream tones with a striking periwinkle blue accent. The furniture is much more modern and hip.

Another gray and cold day in Philadelphia….luckily I had a client appointment with Carolyn at the Papery. LOVE that store! I could spend hours and many dollars. She has the best selection of invitations and is so easy to work with. Be sure to take it in all in on your next visit to old city.

I spent all day Monday at the Javits center in NYC having fun buying incredible cool, hip new vases for our upcoming season. I bought these glass floral imprinted vases that I have been admiring for 2 seasons now. I have the perfect summer afternoon luncheon to put them to good use.

Did some major damage with Pomeroy – gorgeous wrought iron pieces that will be prefect at the Union League or Lake House Inn.
Found these adorable tiny glass placecard holders that hold a single stem flower – perfect for a colorful ranunculus or orchid – the possibilities are endless.
I have a lot of Brides who want Mercury glass this spring season and I found lots of options!
We are getting ready for a fabulous spring and summer season of gorgeous weddings and events!

I stopped by Terrain on my last visit to Sweetwater Farm. What a nice respite on a cold, snowy day. Such beautiful displays of beautiful things.

They had stems of fresh cotton that were gorgeous and lots of incredible candles, winter wreaths, orchids, fabulous books…well worth a visit. A designers dream place.
