This bouquet was one of my favorites to make. The bride requested an earthy style with a rustic fee. I used scabiosa pods, blue thistle, dahlias, hand wired succulents, chocolate cosmos and antique red hydrangea as a base. It was tied with natural raffia. LOVE IT!

Dear Melissa,

Thank you. Thank you for making my dream wedding come true. You saw a vision in all of the ideas and indecisions I threw at you and made them a reality. From our first meeting, I knew you “got” me. You continued to “get” me over the next year, so much so, that you grew to know what I would want.

You are so creative and have  great style. You have a great way of mixing styles together to create one unified vision. You truly have a gift.

We could not have planned our wedding without you. Both my husband and I are so very happy that we met you and that you took the time to know and understand us. We want to especially thank you for all the work you put in during the actual wedding weekend. Although there was a hurricane coming you made sure it wouldn’t ruin a thing. You took away all the stress and made us feel like actors in a movie, it was so memorable.

Thank you for making our fairytale wedding come true.

I LOVE the empire waistline and simplicity of this wedding dress.

We LOVE Tiffany & Co.

We LOVE Tiffany & Co. and this new diamond jewelry is just brilliant, the traditional “Princess Cut”.

DETAILS!!! I worked with Carolyn at Papery in Old City to create this one of a kind invitation. It was a black silk pouch with a pave diamond button placed in a black box tied with black satin ribbon. It was just stunning! The bride wanted a one of a kind guest “book”. Carolyn had a custom box made with “Happily Ever After” on the top and small notecards with the date and monogram for the guests to script their wishes. On the wedding day the bride created a fabric tag with her grooms name and the date to pin into her wedding dress.

We used Uncommon Events for our wedding flowers and decor on 9/10/11. They (Melissa) created such amazing bouquets and boutonnières for the wedding party. I had showed a few pictures at our consult and had my eye on a very interesting flower that I had never seen before. Melissa surprised me on the wedding day with that particular flower incorporated throughout every arrangement, I was thrilled. All of the arrangements were amazing and absolutely beautiful. We had so many compliments from our guests!! Uncommon Events did our floral table arrangements as well. There were three different styles, and they all fit perfectly into our rustic outdoor theme. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Uncommon Events. I didn’t have one worry at all on our “big day” about the flowers or the decor. It was all that I envisioned plus more. They get and A++ in my book and I would highly recommend them for your next event, I know I will be contacting them again soon.
