The following photos are of a gorgeous summer, tented wedding we did in a client’s backyard. They were such a cute couple and their day had beautiful décor!

We had the pleasure of meeting Avi Fox at our open house in December. She is the proud Owner/Designer of the Janey Company and her product is a fun, comfy & cool concept. Below are some facts & photos about the Janey Company that will show you why you should visit her website at https://www.etsy.com/shop/JANEYofNarberth and buy yourself a Janey!!! Show her some love everyone and take a peek.
Each JANEY includes a tag with the name of the JANEY Maker that made your JANEY (online bios of JANEY Makers coming soon!)
Each JANEY is handcrafted locally either at MADE Studio OR by independent artisans. We love supporting these artists, they love crafting each piece with care and creativity.
We believe in empowering women and promoting a natural body image. To support this, the images on our website are not photo-shopped and feature our model Lianda Swain in all of her natural beauty.
JANEY labels are printed in small batches on eco-friendly cotton by Mountain Street Arts, an independent studio in Massachusetts.
The outside layer (and sometimes inside layer, too) of each JANEY is made out of previously-loved sweaters, upcycling something old into something new.
Each JANEY is a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art, mimicking and encouraging the individuality of the wearer.
JANEY hang tags and business cards are printed on 100% recycled, made-in-USA paper at Casa Papel in Philadelphia.
Our JANEY shopping bags are made out of 100% recycled paper. After you take your JANEY home, we encourage you to reuse or recycle the shopping bag.
Global Dye Works – Philly’s newest venue
The former powerplant is currently being converted into a unique and dramatic space that when completed will be able to host events large and small. The space will have a catering kitchen, and event planners can tap into our tenant list that includes specialty food producers, a hard cider maker, photographers, a florist, and a promotions / public relations firm.
Don’t seat brides side grooms side at your ceremony if either group is not equally represented. It looks funny in pictures.
Uncommon Events is a creative design studio and wedding planning firm. We have an unending passion for design and a desire to bring our clients ideas to life. Our blog is a place for us to share the cool things we see, do and create. Enjoy!
