The entire weekend of festivities went off without a hitch and it was beautiful. We loved working with Beth and Andrew through the entire planning process. It was a pleasure to be a part of their wedding day!

We recently had the honor of working with 2Life Talent and we couldn’t wait to share what they are up to with all of you!
2Life Talent is an entertainment agency that offers event services that range from high-energy wedding bands to performing artists and DJs. 2Life Talent has a ton of experience under their belt. The flexibility of their services allows them to cater to events on all ends of the spectrum and in between, from nightlife to corporate setting – they’ve done it.

In all of the hustle and bustle of wedding planning we sometimes lose sight of our groom and groomsmen. We are thrilled to have found Groovy Groomsmen Gifts, a website and awesome company that is 100% devoted to our main men!
Groovy Groomsmen Gifts is an online store that allows users to create customizable gifts and gifts sets that are unique and actually cool! Gift ideas range from pieces of art, like a caricature to travel kits and professional tools. There is even an ‘Under 20’

In a time of so much chaos in the world, we love the soft and peaceful nature of 2016’s Pantone Color(s) of the Year, Rose Quartz and Serenity. The way these colors blend seamlessly together just makes it that much more fun when using them in design elements. We also love that these colors speak to both genders and we feel like this is another step in the right direction when it comes to gender equality.
Last season our event planning and design team created hanging floral arrangements for Love is in the Air 2015 using both colors as the focal point. Check them out!
Just before the Thanksgiving holiday our event planning and design team hit the road and headed north to New York State to scout an event space for a 2017 wedding. Cedar Lakes Estates exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t wait to share with you!
Cedar Lakes Estate is a 500-acre property that offers guests a natural but elegant escape from the city life. The property features amazing landscapes with rolling hills, lakes, and forests. Cedar Lakes Estate is located in the Hudson River Valley and is the perfect setting for couples who are looking for a destination wedding without all the hassle of planning and hosting internationally.
Although rustic in many ways, Cedar Lakes Estate’s architecture is incredibly sophisticated and elegant. The property offers beautiful accommodations, indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces, and an indoor reception venue. Among them are the Amphitheater that stretches 20 feet over the lake, The Mountain Top that offers a breathtaking perch with amazing views and The Poolside Patio, which is a stone-faced patio with a gazebo and stone grill. The Barn is constructed from reclaimed wood and modern glass and is used as a reception space. The entire property is the perfect balance between rustic and elegant.
The homegrown feel doesn’t end in the aesthetics. Cedar Lakes Estates offers farm-fresh menus that are completely customizable. Word on the street is that their food is incredible and we don’t doubt it for a second.
We are looking forward to planning and designing a weekend of events at Cedar Lakes Estate. Until then we will just have to blog about it!

Tis the season for holiday parties and get-togethers and if you’re anything like us you’ll be hosting at least one of these joyous occasions. Our event planning and design team is always looking for ways to set the bar higher when we throw an epic bash so you can imagine how thrilled we were when we first heard about Uber’s latest feature, UberEVENTS.
As if Uber didn’t already have the transportation industry in the palm of their hands, now they are allowing hosts to buy rides for their guests. This is an awesome way to make your guests feel taken care of and helps to eliminate the stress involved in offering an event with an open bar.
UberEVENTS allows you to choose how, when and where your guests will ride. If you are hosting an event that is on a larger scale or a company party you can create a customized promo code that guests can enter when they request a ride…so cool!
As an event planner in Philadelphia, Uber is an extremely affordable option and we use it often. I’m looking forward to our next soiree so that we can put this new feature into drive!
We like to think everything we do should be done with style, especially those not so beautiful tasks. So when it comes to camping you know we would go BIG. We recently designed a vignette for a fundraising event in Philadelphia called A Date with a Plate and we used Glamping (glamorous camping) as our inspiration.
With a brand new Raj tent that arrived into Philadelphia the night before the event (this industry always keeps us on our toes) as the canopy, our Creative Director, Jessica Mader created the most glamorous ‘camping’ experiences. We used mixed china from Bloomingdales that was set upon a live edge wood table and Jess created a few smaller vignettes within the tent with some amazing vintage furniture.
Over the last couple of weeks, our planning team took on a very special project for a very special client to help celebrate a 26th birthday in New York City. We created a customized itinerary for a full day in NYC that was based off of our guest of honor’s favorite hobbies and passions and was filled with surprise gifts and activities around every corner!
The day began at 6:45 a.m. when the concierge at The Greenwich Hotel delivered the first gift of the day (a set of Lululemon yoga clothes) to the penthouse suite where our clients spent the weekend. Shortly after, our driver picked up our couple and brought them to Pure Yoga for a private hot yoga class! After a sweaty yoga session our clients headed to BoxKite Coffee, a coffee roaster and cafe in the East Village. After coffee and breakfast, our guest of honor received a pair of boots (these boots were meant for walking!) and set out on the town for shopping!
Around noon, our driver arrived with gift number three, an oyster plate (the birthday girl LOVES oysters) and then brought our couple to Maison Premiere. Maison Premiere is a well-known oyster house and cocktail den in Brooklyn. We set up an exclusive meeting with their Sommelier, who discussed all of his knowledge of oysters and wine right at the oyster bar!
After an incredible lunch, it was time for some adventurous NYC fun from the air! Our birthday girl received a new pair of Ray Ban aviator sunglasses and buckled up for a helicopter ride around the city. To close out the day and prepare for a special dinner (we left this to our main man to plan), we booked a wine tour and tasting session at Moore Brothers, with one of the Moore family members, Terry!
We had a blast planning a personalized day in NYC and we’re totally looking forward to the next time we get to make BIG birthday wishes come true. Check out some of the shops we stumbled upon when we were looking around the East Village!
We’re still marveling over all of the gorgeous gowns we saw on the runway at the New York Bridal Fashion Week a few weeks ago. The 2016 bridal trends are fabulous and we are so excited to see what which trends our ‘Uncommon’ Brides have chosen.
