Just like the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, the color gray has many fans and critics! While some consider gray to be emotionless and dull, our creative design team thinks that it’s a blockbuster hit. This controversial color is timeless and practical. Here’s a look at some of our favorite gray wedding and design ideas.

You can use it as an accent color or let it take center stage!  We love how the yellow pops against the gray of the bridesmaids’ dresses.

Love is in the Air 2015 is not only an event for the ladies! We are so excited to announce that we have designed a room specifically for the boys. The #LoveIsInTheAir2015’s gentlemen’s room will cater to the celebratory event traditions that men love to enjoy. We have chosen masculine vintage furniture to set the mood provided by Maggpie Vintage Rentals! Tony Santana Cigar Company will be hand rolling the highest quality cigars on the premises. The clear tent is the perfect place to enjoy a whiskey drink and gaze at the stars. Commonwealth Proper will be conveniently located next to the gentlemen’s room where the men can marvel at their amazing custom made suits!

We may have our eyes set on springtime and all of its glory, but there is still so much inspiration left in these beautiful winter months. As much as we love the all-familiar dark cranberry and evergreen hues that frequent winter’s palette, these late season inspirations have us savoring all of what is left of this winter wonderland!

The soft pastels and iridescent accents of this sweet heart table look incredible against the stark whites of the landscape.

Philly Entertains

One of the most important factors to throwing a badass party is to keep the night (or day) flowing! Entertainment is crucial in creating a good flow and keeping guests from getting bored. We have noticed that couples are spending more time personalizing their wedding day and choosing entertainment that is meaningful and memorable. You don’t have to hire fire breathers or flame throwers to wow your guests. Take a look at some of these wonderful entertainment options in Philadelphia that will add excitement to your evening!

Most people love the energy of live music. A live band and a good emcee is the perfect way to get guests off of their chair and onto the dance floor. That’s why we love BVT Live, Philadelphia’s wedding and party entertainment agency. They provide a huge spectrum of incredible talent and Big Ric Rising is one of our favorites! BRR plays a variety of music and Big Ric has fantastic stage presence. Check out one of Big Ric Rising’s performances here.

If you are looking for something a little softer or low-key for the intimate moments of your day, the Philadelphia String Quartet is brilliant. Their talent is not only for cocktail hour or the aisle—take a peak at this video where they cover Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’!

Whether you pick a band, string quartet, DJ or all three(!), make sure that they understand your evenings’ goals. These major entertainment options will be your evening’s guides so pick someone you feel connected to!

Music is not your only option for entertainment. Delight your male guests with celebratory cigars and perhaps a whiskey. Tony Santana Cigar Company hand rolls cigars on premise!
